99 Turbo Run Out — Jolly Boys Outing 2026
The Jolly Boys Outing 2026 was a Saab 99 Turbo run out with David and Peter in a pair of homologation-special 1980 Saab Turbos.
The route left the A19 south at the A179 Hartlepool exit, headed down to Hartlepool Marina, moved on to Seaton Carew, continued past the nuclear power station to the RSPB sanctuary, then finished by heading to the A689/A19 roundabout.

The first stop was Hartlepool Marina, using the boats and waterfront as a backdrop for the two red 99 Turbos.
Seaton Carew
From the marina the route moved on to Seaton Carew, where the cars were parked by the beach in the sunshine.
Final stop
The run finished with the final pictures before heading back to the A689/A19 roundabout. Along the way there were admiring looks and thumbs-up from motorists who understood the appeal of a pair of classic Saab Turbos.
